Delete your account

Morning Pages – Daily Journal

This page explains how to delete your Morning Pages account and the data associated with it. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Last updated: July 16, 2026.

Delete your account in the app

On your phone or computer:

  1. Open the Morning Pages app and sign in if you aren't already.
  2. Go to Settings: on mobile, open the Profile tab (bottom right) and tap the gear icon; on the web app at my.morningpages.app, open Settings from the navigation.
  3. Scroll to Security & Privacy and choose Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Delete your account by email

If you can't access the app, email us at support@morningpages.app from the email address your account is registered with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm once it is done.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove from our active systems:

  • Your account record, including your email address
  • All journal entries stored in Morning Cloud
  • AI analysis results (emotions, moods, topics) linked to your entries
  • Subscription records tied to your account

Copies of your journal stored locally on your devices are not affected by account deletion; you can remove them by deleting your data in the app's settings or uninstalling the app.

What is kept

Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, and backups are cycled out over time. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, your billing relationship is managed by Apple or Google: deleting your account does not cancel an active store subscription, so please also cancel it in your store's subscription settings.

Deleting data without deleting your account

You can also delete your synced journal data while keeping your account: in the app's settings you can remove your cloud data or delete all of your pages. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
